Electrician

More electrician, you can see them start in the kitchen and see them move to the great room, master bedroom, dining room, and hallway. With a cameo by Grandpa again!

Grandpa

Lots of busy work from the electrician and a quick peak of Grandpa sweeping floors!

Interior work

Interior work continues. The camera is in a nook window pointing north east. This video shows the various contractors. The beginning of the video is duct work, the electrical contractors take up most of the middle and you can see the siding guys working through the nook door.

Siding

Here is siding getting put up.

Interior work

They have been busy inside. Plumbing, duct work, and finally getting the doors and windows in!

shingles and windows begin.

October is half over and the weather challenges continue. It snows or rains a lot more that I remember for normal years. The shingles are on and the progress should be more visible after next week as the windows and siding are scheduled (weather permitting) for this weekend and next week. Inside, the duct work is progressing for the air conditioning and the plumbing waste system is in but the supply system has stalled due to other commitments by the plumber. He should be back Monday. The electrician is still restoring power to over 2200 of his customers as of yesterday (10/15/13). I’ve added pictures of the shingles and a video time lapse of the snow storm.

Roofing

Most of the underlayment goes on right before the big storm hits. Logan gets some more digging done on the north side of the house.

The carpenter team finished up the rough in so the HVAC and plumber can start work on Monday.  The roof supplies get delivered on Monday and the installers get to work on Tuesday.

The pictures show the arched window and a shot of the interior.

One of the carpenters said ” for a foam house, there is sure a lot of wood in it”
