Time laspse seems locked
Those of you having trouble viewing the time lapse mini movies please leave a note including the link used so I can try to get help from VideoPress. In the mean time here is an update.
Since January 12th, the plumber has been busy installing the support lines for the in-floor heat. The headers for the floor tubing are all connected and awaiting the pressure test and fill. The geothermal heat pump is connected to the eight wells and will be pressure tested this week and filled next week. The air handlers are all in place and just need one more connection to be operational. The tile floor is going in smoothly and looks remarkably like the wood flooring as planned. Soon contrasting paint will be complete. We’ll get a picture of that posted soon.
Thanks for visiting, let us know about any video issues.
December-January 11th
Wow has it been busy around here!
Bullet points:
First the sheet rock was put up at floor level, while the tubing was being laid for the in floor heating. Then the gypcrete was poured. The drywallers finished putting up the sheet rock and hand taped and mudded everything (we ran dehumidifiers, electric and propane heaters constantly to dry the floors, walls and keep the place warm in -20 to 30 degree weather for the last month while they worked) They worked on texturing this last week, followed closely behind with primer by our favorite helpers again! The guys (Don and Joe) came BACK again this month and have been priming, painting, fixing, building, installing, running errands and are now putting down flooring… With a tiny bit of card playing if they aren’t asleep when then get back at night.
FLoors
Here is the very first bit of floor being laid today.
